About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physiotherapist to join our team in North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Community Neuro Rehab Physiotherapist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in neurology and rehabilitation, with experience in assessing and treating patients with a range of neurological conditions. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care and support to patients, and contribute to the development of our services through participation in service development and audit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients with neurological conditions, including stroke, spinal cord injury, and multiple sclerosis
  • Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans to improve patient function and quality of life
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care and support to patients
  • Contribute to the development of our services through participation in service development and audit
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices and research in neurology and rehabilitation

Requirements
  • CSP recognised Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy
  • Member of The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
  • Evidence of attendance at relevant post-graduate courses
  • Experience in assessing and treating patients with neurological conditions
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team
