Disability and Inclusive Practice Adviser

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our Student Wellbeing Services team as a Disability and Inclusive Practice Adviser. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students with disabilities and promote inclusive practice across the university.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality support to students disclosing a disability, ensuring an integrated and consistent approach to disability and promoting inclusive practice across all university departments.
  • Work in partnership with academic and professional services staff to ensure discipline and disability specific adjustments, interventions, awareness raising, and expert information, advice and guidance are in place.
  • Develop specialist knowledge in one or more nominated area of expertise, with support provided to enable you to develop this expertise.

About the Role:

This is a permanent full-time post, with a fixed-term role available to support our partnership with Frontline to deliver their social work training programme. We are open to considering secondments for this role.
