About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Phoenix Learning & Care Group. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children in our residential care setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children to achieve their full potential and lead fulfilling lives.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of individualized care plans.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support.
Requirements
- Patience, empathy, and understanding in working with children who have experienced trauma.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A driving license and ability to drive children to appointments and activities.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including sleepovers and weekends.
- Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
