About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our well-established Brighton and Hove/East Sussex community rotation as a Band 5 Physiotherapist. You will work closely with experienced colleagues to deliver high-quality care to patients, and contribute to the development of our physiotherapy services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To work as a therapist within a team or as part of a rotation in Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust.
  2. To complete the SCFT Preceptorship programme through regular supervision and professional support.
  3. To be involved in the support of Band 2, 3, and 4 staff as well as student education.
  4. To take part in and contribute to in-service training and keep your own Personal Development plans up to date.

Requirements

You must have a degree in physiotherapy or equivalent, be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), and be a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. You should also have completed a broad range of student placements and have evidence of practical continued professional development.

Additional desirable qualifications include experience of NHS placements or experience, and basic understanding of audit/service improvement. A driving license is also required for this role.
