About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Recovery Support Worker to join our team at Beach House, a service that provides high support housing to individuals with enduring mental health backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide recovery-focused support to service users in accordance with their individualized support plans.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other professionals.
  • Conduct regular assessments and reviews to ensure the effectiveness of support plans.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a comprehensive and person-centered approach to care.
  • Administer medication and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in on-call rosters and provide support during evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in the mental health sector is desirable but not essential.
  • A genuine desire to support individuals in their recovery and a can-do attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a flexible and dynamic environment.
  • Compassion, empathy, and a non-judgmental approach.
