We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at MacGregor Black. As a key member of our Engineering department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform planned maintenance and repairs on production equipment to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency.
- Participate in the development and implementation of the Engineering department's strategic plan to drive business growth and improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements related to health, safety, and environmental management.
- Support the planning and execution of capital engineering projects to drive business growth and improvement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a maintenance or engineering role, preferably in the FMCG industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical or mechanical engineering principles and practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- 12-hour shifts, 4 on 4 off.
