FM Conway is seeking a skilled Transport Supervisor - Nights to oversee the operations and management of our night drivers and HGV fleet. This is a permanent, full-time position working nights, 17:00-03:00, based from our Erith depot.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage drivers to achieve full utilization of our fleet across our fleet capacity
- Support drivers with queries, annual leave requests, absences, and performance reviews
- Liaise with workshop and planners regarding vehicle availability
- Conduct investigations following accidents or incidents, and chair disciplinary hearings if needed
- Gain a thorough understanding of site requirements and restrictions
- Stay up-to-date with new and current transport systems and transport regulations
- Assist in KPI reporting on vehicle and driver earnings, and maintain records of asphalt fleet utilization
- Support the management of the Professional Drivers Recognition Scheme
Requirements:
We are looking for an experienced Transport Supervisor - Nights with a strong understanding of EU driver and tachograph regulations, and knowledge of UK driving legislation and traffic laws. You will have experience in managing a team and the ability to handle ever-changing priorities in pressured situations.
