Transport Operations Manager

FM Conway is seeking a Transport Supervisor - Nights to manage our busy and dynamic Transport team. This permanent, full-time position involves overseeing night drivers and our HGV fleet, working nights from 17:00-03:00 based from our Erith depot.

Key Responsibilities:

- Managing drivers to achieve full utilisation of our fleet across our fleet capacity

- Supporting drivers with queries, annual leave requests, absences, and performance reviews

- Liaising with workshop and planners regarding vehicle availability

- Conducting investigations following accidents or incidents, with the ability to chair disciplinary hearings if needed

- Gaining a full understanding of site requirements and restrictions

Requirements:

We are looking for an experienced Transport Supervisor - Nights who has proven experience in managing and leading a busy and large-scale transport fleet. You will have a strong understanding of EU driver and tachograph regulations and knowledge of UK driving legislation and traffic laws. It is essential you have experience in managing a team and have the ability to handle ever-changing priorities in pressured situations.
