Job Summary

NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Business Support Assistant. This is a fixed-term position that will provide administrative support to our Youth Health Service and associated programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage referrals to the service and administer appointment systems
  • Manage waiting lists and respond to enquiries from the public
  • Liaise with the clinical team and collate performance management data
  • Supervise members of the Business Support team

Requirements

  • Experience in administrative support roles, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software

Working Arrangements

This role will be based in Gartnavel Royal Hospital, with the service delivered in 9 venues across the city. The successful candidate will be required to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the service.
