We are seeking an Accounting Coordinator to join our finance team, supporting the growth and success of Sharpsmart Ltd in the service-based operations sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and generate accurate billing, ensuring timely submission of invoices and efficient payment progress tracking.
  • Analyse customer contracts to guarantee accurate billing according to agreed terms and pricing structures.
  • Resolve billing discrepancies by investigating client queries or internal issues and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Maintain and update billing records in the system, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.
  • Collaborate with operations, sales, and customer service teams for seamless billing processes.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc billing reports for management review.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Billing Analyst, Billing Coordinator, or in a similar role, ideally within healthcare, waste management, or another service-based industry.
  • Strong understanding of billing processes and software applications.
  • AAT qualification or equivalent would be advantageous.
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with a focus on meeting deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise with internal teams and external clients in a professional manner.
