About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Consultant to join our team at The Recruitment Group. As a Health and Safety Consultant, you will play a key role in providing expert health and safety services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough health and safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Provide guidance to clients on meeting health and safety laws, including ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 standards.
  • Deliver training sessions and workshops on health and safety practices to ensure clients have the necessary knowledge and skills to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, delivering detailed reports and recommendations to prevent future occurrences.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes to ensure continuous compliance and best practices.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and guidance to ensure their health and safety needs are met.
Requirements
  • Proven background in health, safety, and environmental management from a large construction industry or consultancy background.
  • Level 6 or equivalent NEBOSH qualification.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
