Job Title: Health and Safety Consultant

Location: Not Specified

Salary: Up to £55k (Dependent on Experience)

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

The Health and Safety Consultant will play a crucial role in providing professional health and safety services to our clients. This position involves offering expert advice, conducting thorough assessments, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive health and safety audits and risk assessments.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Guide clients on meeting health and safety laws, including ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 standards.
  • Deliver training sessions and workshops on health and safety best practices.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, providing detailed reports and recommendations.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry developments and regulatory changes to ensure continuous compliance and best practices.
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships, offering ongoing support and guidance.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven background in health, safety, and environmental management from a large construction industry or consultancy background.
  • Level 6 or equivalent NEBOSH qualification.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
