Job Summary


We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Hotel Receptionist to join our team at AccorHotel. As a key member of our front desk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, handling reservations, and maintaining the overall efficiency of our hotel operations.


About the Role


In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring that they receive a warm welcome and a seamless check-in experience. You will be responsible for managing room assignments, handling guest inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise during their stay.


You will also be required to maintain accurate records of guest arrivals and departures, process payments, and handle cash and credit transactions. Additionally, you will be expected to provide information about local attractions, services, and facilities, as well as assist with special requests and events.


Key Responsibilities



  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive guest experience
  • Manage room assignments, handle guest inquiries, and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate records of guest arrivals and departures
  • Process payments, handle cash and credit transactions, and manage float
  • Provide information about local attractions, services, and facilities
  • Assist with special requests and events, such as weddings and conferences
  • Familiarize yourself with the hotel's policies, procedures, and systems
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless hotel operations

Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. You should also have a good understanding of basic math concepts, be proficient in using computer software and systems, and be able to lift up to 25 pounds.


Working Hours


This is a full-time position, working approximately 40 hours per week. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Flexibility is essential in this role, as you will need to adapt to changing circumstances and prioritize tasks accordingly.


Benefits
