About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Income Generation to join our team at Exeter Leukaemia Fund. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for setting and delivering our fundraising strategy, achieving income targets, and managing our income generation team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to meet our income targets.
  • Lead and manage our income generation team, providing guidance and support to ensure successful delivery of fundraising activities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, corporate partners, and community groups.
  • Identify and pursue new fundraising opportunities, including trusts, grants, and major gifts.
  • Develop and implement effective stewardship and donor engagement strategies to ensure long-term relationships with our supporters.
  • Monitor and report on fundraising performance, providing regular updates to the CEO and Board of Trustees.
  • Ensure compliance with charity regulations and guidelines, including the Fundraising Regulator and Charity Commission.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced fundraising professional with a proven track record of success in securing gifts from a range of donors. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, donors, and stakeholders. You will also have a good understanding of fundraising principles, charity regulations, and data protection principles.
