Vehicle Damage Assessor Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our team at FMG Repair Services. As a Vehicle Damage Assessor, you will be responsible for assessing the extent of damage to vehicles, preparing and maintaining records of electronic and manual estimates, and liaising with insurance companies and customers to ensure the repair process is completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the extent of damage to vehicles and prepare estimates for repair
  • Prepare and maintain records of electronic and manual estimates
  • Liaise with insurance companies and customers to ensure the repair process is completed efficiently and effectively
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure the repair process is completed to a high standard

Requirements:

  • NVQ level 3/City & Guilds or ATA/IMI qualified with a solid Bodyshop background as an Estimator or VDA / Vehicle Damage Assessor, Audatex trained
  • Full UK driving licence
