Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our team at FMG Repair Services. As a Vehicle Damage Assessor, you will be responsible for assessing the extent of damage to vehicles, estimating repair costs, and preparing estimates for insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the extent of damage to vehicles and estimate repair costs
  • Prepare estimates for insurance companies
  • Liaise with insurance companies to obtain authority to repair vehicles
  • Work effectively with customers, engineers, and technicians to explain and ensure they understand the repair methodology
  • Stay up-to-date with all repair methodologies and manufacturer literature

Requirements:

  • NVQ level 3/City & Guilds or ATA/IMI qualified
  • Bodyshop background as an Estimator or VDA / Vehicle Damage Assessor
  • Audatex trained
  • Full UK driving licence
