Job Title: Deputy Director of Operations

This is a key role within the Sussex BCSP Programme administration management team, responsible for delivering high-quality, effective, and flexible patient access, clerical, and administrative services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct line management of the patient access, reception, secretarial, and ward administration teams.
  • Responsible for staff recruitment, appraisal, feedback, and performance management.
  • Ensure accurate annual leave and sickness records for direct reports.
  • Undertake regular workstation assessments and implement findings.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret statistical performance information.
  • Support the Manager in annual capacity/demand planning.
  • Be a member of the department management team and organize monthly heads of department meetings.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of management experience.
  • Extensive NHS experience.
  • Extensive working knowledge of RTT waiting lists.
  • GCSE qualification or equivalent.
