About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Director of Operations to join our Transformation Unit. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in the delivery of high-quality, effective, and flexible patient access, clerical, and administrative services for our Screening Programme.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage the front-end administration and reporting for the Patient Administration System, including working with the Regional Data Manager on national reports.
  2. Take appropriate action related to the maintenance of the waiting lists in line with Programme and national policies and guidelines.
  3. Be responsible for the line management of the patient access, the performance of the team, covering reception, patient booking, clinical preparation team, and any other support services where appropriate to the role, as agreed with the Manager.
Requirements
  • 2+ years experience in management
  • Extensive NHS experience
  • Extensive working knowledge of RTT waiting list
  • GCSE qualification or equivalent
  • Degree or relevant experience
  • Experience in Cancer or Screening
  • Experience in working with external stakeholders
