About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bridge Design Engineer to join our team at Waterman Aspen. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will have the opportunity to work on some of the biggest and most complex bridge projects in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of bridge projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and project success.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve design and delivery processes.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in bridge design and delivery, with a strong understanding of Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB), Eurocodes, and British Standards.
  • Excellent technical skills, including proficiency in structural analysis modeling and design calculations, as well as experience with structural design software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • A full UK driving license, as site visits may be required.
