As a Senior Bridge Design Engineer at Waterman Aspen, you will be a key member of our West Midlands team, working on a variety of exciting bridge projects for our clients. You can expect:

Experience required...

Essential:

  • Knowledge and experience in the use of Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB), Eurocodes and British Standards.
  • Skilled in the preparation of contract specifications and the use of MCHW
  • Ability to undertake structural analysis modelling and design calculations independently
  • Experienced in the use of Structural design software
  • Awareness of responsibilities under the CDM Regulations

Desirable:

  • Professionally qualified (ICE, IStructE)
  • NEC contracts management experience
  • Knowledge of temporary works design
  • A full UK driving licence as site visits may be required
