About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior or Principal Engineer to join our Civil and Bridge Engineering team in Birmingham, Manchester, and Wrexham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the delivery of civil and bridge engineering projects, ensuring high-quality results, and meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and review bridge design, strengthening, and repair projects
  • Provide general civil and structural engineering support to other teams
  • Conduct feasibility studies and options appraisals
  • Prepare and review specifications, reports, and health and safety risk assessments
  • Supervise junior members of the team
  • Experience of finite element analysis software and parametric design techniques
  • Commercial awareness and experience of managing costs
  • Good report-writing skills
  • Experience of leading teams
  • Good communication, client handling, and interpersonal skills
