About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Fundraising and Partnership Development Specialist to join our team at Greenwich Foodbank. This is an exciting opportunity to help us realise our vision of ending the need for foodbanks in the Royal Borough of Greenwich.

The successful candidate will be responsible for proactively creating and growing fundraising income, reaching and supporting grant giving trusts and foundations as well as corporate organisations across London and the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and prioritise potential grant giving trusts and foundations funders, forge relationships, develop and submit timely and winning funding applications.
  • Manage ongoing relationships with grant giving trusts and foundations funders, ensuring excellent stewardship, timely reporting and maximising potential for further funding.
  • Proactively identify, engage and build good relationships with prospective corporate donors, successfully securing them as funding partners.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop authentic, compelling, creative and winning funding and partnership proposals that align our vision and work with grant giving trusts, foundations and corporate partners' needs, motivations, areas of interest and values.

Requirements:

  • Good established experience of trusts and foundations fundraising as well as corporate partnerships fundraising.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and relationship management skills, inspiring and motivating new and existing funders.
  • Experience of setting, managing and reporting against fundraising KPIs.
  • Tenacious, able to embrace, develop and shape a new role, well organised, proactive and a self-starter who is able to self-motivate.

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
