Data Scientist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team at Printed. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and deploying machine learning models that drive key business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Model Development:
- Design, develop, and optimize machine learning models to solve complex business challenges such as customer segmentation, predictive analytics, and recommendations.
- Utilize Python and SQL for data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, and validation.
- Experiment with a variety of algorithms and techniques to enhance model accuracy and performance.
- Data Analysis and Feature Engineering:
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to extract valuable insights and identify trends that inform model development.
- Engineer and select features that improve model performance, ensuring relevance and robustness.
- Collaborate with the data engineering team to ensure that clean, well-structured data is available for model training and evaluation.
- Model Deployment Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Senior Data Engineer to prepare models for production, ensuring they meet all criteria for deployment within the data platform.
- Engage in rigorous testing and validation processes to ensure models are ready for scaling and integration across various business applications.
- Technical Focus and Development:
- Maintain a strong focus on the technical aspects of model development, including code optimization, algorithm selection, and scalability.
- Collaborate with the data engineering team to ensure that the necessary infrastructure and pipelines are in place to support machine learning initiatives.
- Leverage the project management team to coordinate project requirements, timelines, and deliverables, allowing you to concentrate on technical excellence.
- Evaluation and Monitoring:
- Implement ongoing evaluation processes to monitor the performance of deployed models, ensuring they remain effective and relevant.
- Make data-driven recommendations for model improvements and adapt to changes in data or business needs.
- Develop and maintain documentation for model development, including methodologies, assumptions, and outcomes.
We are looking for a highly skilled Data Scientist with experience in developing and deploying machine learning models in a production environment.
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, with a proven ability to develop and deploy machine learning models.
- Expertise in Python and SQL, with experience in utilizing various machine learning libraries and frameworks.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services and big data tools like Apache Spark or Hadoop.
- Strong background in working with large datasets and applying advanced statistical methods.
