About the Role

The OSB Group is seeking a highly skilled Underwriting and Completions Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the Underwriting department, you will play a crucial role in assessing the risk of lending and protecting the Bank against potential losses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers while maintaining high-quality assessment of key underwriting and completions documents.
  • Drive pipeline chasing to completion, ensuring timely and efficient processing of mortgage applications.
  • Assess mortgage application documents in line with the Bank's policy and standards, reviewing and agreeing property reports as necessary.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in primary servicing or collections is desirable.
  • Working knowledge of the mortgage product life cycle from application to completion is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
  • GCSE/GCE qualifications in both Maths and English are essential.

  • A competitive salary range of £22,000 - £24,000, dependent on experience.
