Underwriting and Completions Specialist

About the Role
The Underwriting department at OSB Group plays a crucial role in supporting the Bank by assessing the risk of lending and protecting the Bank against losses. Our team takes a common-sense approach to manual underwriting, leveraging strong market knowledge and a diagnostic approach to deliver dependable decisions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service to internal and external customers while maintaining quality in the assessment of key underwriting and completions documents.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing consistently high-quality customer service to both external and internal customers.
- Ensuring that all enquiries and complex queries relating to Underwriting and Completions are dealt with promptly, efficiently, and in accordance with the Bank's service standards, policies, and procedures.
- Assessing mortgage application documents in line with the Bank's policy and standards.
- Reviewing and agreeing property reports and referring to Valuers as necessary.

- Base salary dependent on experience of between £22,000 - £24,000.
