Community Mental Health Nurse

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and caring Community Mental Health Nurse to join our multi-disciplinary team at Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have experience of working with older adults and caring for individuals with Enduring Mental Health problems.
Main Responsibilities
The post will include care coordinating a designated caseload, working within CPA Policy and associated countywide risk procedures, travelling independently, use of IT skills and a working knowledge of legislation regarding safeguarding vulnerable adults, the MHA and MCA.

Preceptorship Programme
We provide a Multi-professional preceptorship programme that is aligned to the National Preceptorship Framework for Nursing and have been awarded the Interim quality mark from NHS England. Our programme is provided to all Newly Qualified; Nurses, Nursing Associates, Internationally Educated Practitioners, Allied Health Professionals and Return to Practice Practitioners.
Person Specification
We are looking for a candidate with experience in mental health, qualifications in a relevant field and some understanding of supporting patients with SMI in later life. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, use IT skills and have a working knowledge of legislation regarding safeguarding vulnerable adults, the MHA and MCA.
