We are currently seeking an experienced bookkeeper to join our team as an Autobody Production Manager & Bookkeeper. This key role involves managing the financial aspects of our autobody repair shop, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
  • Overseeing accounts receivable and payable to ensure timely collection and payment.
  • Conducting monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts.
  • Processing payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Preparing financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Providing support during tax preparation and audits by maintaining accurate records.
  • Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding financial records.
  • Utilizing accounting software proficiently to manage financial transactions.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
  • Providing administrative support, including handling correspondence and scheduling meetings.
  • Serving as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, answering phone calls and responding to inquiries promptly and professionally.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 5+ years of experience as a bookkeeper or similar role.
  • A solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred) or relevant certification.
Salary and Benefits
