Job Title: Autobody Production Manager & Bookkeeper

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Autobody Production Manager & Bookkeeper. This position requires a blend of production management expertise and financial acumen to oversee the operational and financial aspects of our autobody repair shop.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Record financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable to ensure timely collection and payment.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Process payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Provide support during tax preparation and audits by maintaining accurate records.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding financial records.
  • Utilize accounting software proficiently to manage financial transactions.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
  • Provide administrative support, including handling correspondence and scheduling meetings.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, answering phone calls and responding to inquiries promptly and professionally.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as a bookkeeper or similar role.
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred) or relevant certification.
Salary Range:

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
