About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Senior Event Production Specialist to join our team at Production Futures. This role will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of large-scale events, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving operational excellence.

Job Description:
  • Lead the development of event concept designs, working closely with creative teams to bring innovative ideas to life.
  • Work closely with sales teams to understand client needs, developing tailored solutions that meet their objectives.
  • Maintain relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring seamless event execution.
  • Contribute to process improvements, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing changes to increase efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities:

Event Planning & Logistics
  • Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including venue selection, catering, and audio-visual requirements.
  • Develop and manage event timelines, ensuring timely completion and effective stakeholder communication.
  • Liaise with external partners, managing budgets and expectations to achieve successful event outcomes.
Financial Management
  • Manage event budgets, analyzing costs and revenues to optimize profitability.
  • Develop and implement financial forecasts, identifying areas for improvement and enhancing financial stability.
Training & Development
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying this knowledge to enhance event quality and attendee engagement.
  • Mentor junior team members, sharing expertise and contributing to their growth and development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as event management, marketing, or hospitality.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in event production, preferably within the healthcare or private sector.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality events, meeting client expectations and achieving excellent results.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software, such as Asana or Trello.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $130,000 per annum, depending on experience.
