Role Description

We are seeking an Accreditation Process Coordinator to join our team at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our forensic services.

About the Position

The successful candidate will have experience in working within quality assurance or accreditation in order to apply for this post. You will lead on providing specialist support to ensure the Centre achieves and maintains accreditation to the relevant Quality Standards set by the Forensic Science regulator.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead on the internal and external audits required within the Trust, for the UKAS accreditation and for NHS England's yearly quality schedule.
  • Maintain an in-depth working knowledge of current legislation, updates, changes and any new legislation in relation to the Quality Standards.
  • You will assist with the smooth running of the Centre and to deputise in the absence of the manager, when necessary, supporting other staff members in delivering a high quality service.

Requirements

  • Candidates must have experience in working within quality assurance or accreditation.
  • Project management experience is desirable.
