Children and Young People Mental Health Practitioner

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Mental Health Practitioner to join our well-established team. The successful candidate will work with children and young people in the community, providing high standards of evidence-based client-centred care within the THRIVE Framework for service delivery.
Main Duties of the Job- Provide interventions to children and young people and their families/carers referred into the service.
- Undertake risk assessments and care plans accordingly, in line with the THRIVE framework.
- Work in ways that are sensitive to the needs of children and young people and families from a wide range of racial, cultural and religious backgrounds.
- Core professional qualification in: Registered nursing, Social work, Occupational therapy.
- Up to date Professional Registration (to be maintained).
- Experience of mental health assessments and therapeutic interventions with children and young people with mental health problems and their families.
- Skilled in the ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, clinical sensitive information to clients, their families, carers and other professional colleagues both within and outside the NHS.
