About the Role

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Quality Assurance Specialist to join our busy QA Team at Barfoots. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality checks and label verification of finished products
  • Assist the QA team with shelf life sampling and data entry
  • Process and print label and tray end orders in a timely manner
  • Communicate new and updated orders to production teams effectively
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of label orders and amendments
  • Perform routine maintenance on printing machinery and report any issues
  • Update databases for accurate stock count and communicate with production teams
  • Participate in the implementation and drive of Product Daily Quality Assessment (Taste Panel) by the QA Department
  • Perform other reasonable tasks requested by the Factory Technical Supervisor

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards
  • Effective communication skills and spoken English
  • Understanding of the FMCG or fresh food sector (an advantage)
  • CIEH Level 2 Food Safety (desirable)
