About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our team at Vistry Group PLC. As a key member of our site management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supervise site activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Lead and motivate site teams to achieve exceptional results and promote a culture of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Monitor and control site costs, resources, and materials to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and drive project progress.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address potential risks and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement site-specific plans to achieve business objectives and improve performance.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to site staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior construction or site management role, preferably in the housebuilding industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire site teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address potential risks and opportunities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations, with the ability to apply this knowledge to ensure compliance and quality standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
