About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our team at Vistry Group. As a key member of our site management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary tasks and ensure that all works are carried out safely, on time, and to the required standard.
  • Supervise site operations and promote a safe working environment through strong supervision and adherence to our SHE standards.
  • Assist the Site Manager in chairing and leading regular Subcontractor Coordination meetings to monitor progress against programme and ensure HSE and quality compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with our Business Management System and focus on reducing NHBC RI rates.
  • Take ownership of material management, including requisitioning and storage, to minimize wastage and ensure timely delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, clients, and supply chain partners to drive high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Carry out administrative tasks as set by the project lead and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Valid First Aid at Work Certificate
  • NVQ Level 3-4 BTEC diploma in Building Construction or similar
  • Valid Scaffold Inspection certificate
  • Qualified to the required CIOB Grade applicable at the time in accordance with group policy
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Asta
  • Experience in a management or supervisory position
  • Knowledge of NHBC Standards and HBF ratings
