About the Role
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Quality Assurance Specialist to join our busy QA Team at Barfoots. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our products by conducting quality checks, online checks, and working closely with the team to identify and resolve any quality issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality checks and online checks to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Assist the QA team in identifying and resolving quality issues
- Process and print label and tray end orders in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with production and packaging teams to ensure accuracy
- Maintain accurate and clear records of label orders and amendments
- Perform systematic maintenance of label stocks and printing machinery
- Update databases for accurate stock count
- Participate in the implementation and drive of Product Daily Quality Assessment (Taste Panel) by the QA Department
- Perform other reasonable tasks requested by the Factory Technical Supervisor
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Able to prioritize tasks effectively
- Customer-focused with excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
- Understanding of the FMCG or fresh food sector (an advantage)
- CIEH Level 2 Food Safety (desirable)
