About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our EU AMZL Global Fleet Product, Fleet Planning team as a Director of Supply Chain Optimization. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong understanding of supply chain management, logistics, and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the supply planning for Last Mile Rentals, a revolutionary program aimed at transforming the current 'push' fleet planning model to a 'pull' model.
  • Design and implement mechanisms to meet strategic goals in relation to LMR fleet scale with efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Fleet Demand and Fleet Finance to assess demand variability, planning accuracy, and review inputs from diverse partner organizations.
  • Anticipate risks and design Supply Chain solutions to be implemented directly by GFP.
Top Challenges
  • To plan and develop a sustainable LMR supply base that removes agility and cost as scale blockers.
  • To trade off among different stakeholders with diverse and conflicting goals.
  • To create mechanisms for the governance of the approvals of the transfer orders to replenish LMR pools.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in the fleet, supply chain, or logistics industry.
  • Experience in business ownership, controlling, and business analysis.
  • Proven track record of creating effective reporting and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills combined with proficiency in Excel.
  • Experience influencing and interacting with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize high-volume engagements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • SQL proficiency.
  • Understanding of fleet management and related KPIs.
