Urgent Care Practitioner - Band 7 Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team of Emergency Clinical Practitioners at a busy walk-in centre in Soho, London.

About the Role:
  • Deliver high-quality, unscheduled care for patients presenting with a range of conditions, including minor injuries and ailments as well as complex health needs and acute on chronic conditions.
  • Collaborate with emergency services and other healthcare professionals to achieve excellent patient outcomes.

Our organisation is rated Good by CQC and provides services to 11 London Boroughs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assess, manage and treat patients presenting to unscheduled services with a range of illnesses and injuries, prescribing medication as required.
  • Treat patients aged 2 years and above.

Essential Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional with relevant qualifications and experience.
  • Post-graduate qualification and training in advanced practice.
  • Current or recent UK/NHS experience at Band 6 level or higher.
  • Independent Prescriber status (or on pathway to completion).
  • Proven ability to utilise expert diagnostic and clinical skills to provide autonomous, unscheduled medical care and management.
