Animal Care Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our team. As part of GLG Vets in Bangor, Gwynedd, you will provide exceptional veterinary care to animals while working in a dynamic environment.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their owners. You will be responsible for performing routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals, as well as conducting surgical procedures and providing guidance to pet owners on general care and wellness.
About the Role:
- Perform routine examinations and diagnostic tests on animals
- Conduct surgical procedures, including spaying and neutering
- Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Provide expert advice to pet owners on animal health and wellness
- Maintain accurate records of patient histories and treatments
Requirements:
- Veterinary degree from a recognized institution
- Valid veterinary license to practice in the UK
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Compassionate and caring approach to animals
Estimated Salary Range: Up to £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive salary package, which includes opportunities for career development and progression.
