Quantity Surveyor Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial aspects of assigned projects, ensuring timely completion and cost control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project finances, tracking performance against contractual timelines and reporting any issues to Project Managers.
  • Submit monthly progress applications for ongoing projects.
  • Review tender allowances and submit variation requests.
  • Maintain effective communication and strong relationships with clients.
  • Develop and update spreadsheet analyses regularly.
  • Ensure cost control is upheld throughout the procurement, delivery, and design phases.
  • Adopt a commercial mindset to proactively identify and propose cost-saving measures within the business.
  • Generate monthly cost and value forecasts.
  • Prepare tender and contract documentation.
  • Support various day-to-day Quantity Surveying tasks as needed.
Requirements:
  • Experience working on large commercial projects.
  • Quantity Surveyor or similar qualification.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Sheets.
