Job Overview

This is a fixed-term/secondment position for several months to meet the needs of the service.

Main Duties
  1. Take charge of a clinical area on a regular basis in the absence of the Ward Manager.
  2. Analyse complex clinical situations, interpret data, and make informed decisions.
  3. Assess patients' nursing care needs and develop, implement, and evaluate programmes of care.
  4. Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver therapies effectively.
  5. Participate in the development of educational programmes for the clinical area.
  6. Act as a supervisor, mentor, and assessor, aiding reflection and supervising practice.
  7. Cover other clinical areas as required by senior nursing staff.
