About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our growing RF group, supporting electronic and RF testing for cutting-edge defence projects. As an RF Specialist, you will be responsible for a range of tasks, including testing, component-level work, assembly, and rework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct technical investigations and provide problem assessments
  • Propose design solutions and conduct technical investigations
  • Work independently within a multi-skilled team to achieve project goals
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality results
  • Contribute to a culture that values innovative thinking and problem-solving

Requirements:

  • Degree-qualified or equivalent industry experience in electronic design, development, and delivery
  • Experience working within a multi-disciplinary team and awareness of the challenges that come with it
  • Knowledge of a wide range of electronic technologies and products
  • Familiarity with RF circuits and components across a wide range of frequencies
  • Practical skills in soldering, fault finding, and RF component-level assembly
  • Experience with RF laboratory test equipment, including spectrum analysers, VNA's, and power meters
  • Ability to use CAD software, such as KiCAD or ORCAD
  • Good communication skills and ability to produce high-quality written reports and presentations
