About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our RF group within the Seeker and Data Link Systems Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a range of RF tasks, including RCS prediction and measurement, antenna design, RF testing, radar systems, and radio altimeters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop RF systems and components
  • Conduct RF testing and measurement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies
Requirements
  • Degree qualified in Electronics Engineering or related field
  • Experience in electronic design, development, and delivery
  • Knowledge of RF circuits and components
  • Practical skills in soldering, fault finding, and RF component level assembly
  • Experience with CAD software such as KiCAD or ORCAD
  • Good communication skills and ability to produce high-quality written reports and presentations
What You'll Get to Do

As an Electronics Engineer - Radiation Effects, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge defence projects, supporting electronic and RF testing. You will be responsible for testing, component level work, assembly, and rework, and will have the chance to work with a variety of RF technologies across the entire product life cycle.

Security Clearance

British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship is required. All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS).
