**About the Position:**

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and skilled leader to join our team as an Operations Manager. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing and leading a team of professionals to deliver high-quality services to children and young people. With a strong focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction, this role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who share our vision of providing exceptional services.

Responsibilities:

  1. Take overall responsibility for the management and leadership of newly formed company as Operations Manager and Responsible Individual reporting directly to the Director of Operations.
  2. Promote high standards of care in line with regulatory bodies.
  3. Lead and manage both Managers and resources to ensure high standards of service are achieved within the homes.
  4. Register as the Responsible Individual with Ofsted for all operational homes and new homes within London.
  5. Develop and implement Ofsted registration for chosen/selected properties.
  6. Lead the planning, development, and delivery of effective, efficient, and sustainable services across the London region.
  7. Become fully knowledgeable and cognisant of ClearCare, the company's system for the management of children's social care settings.
  8. Develop and maintain professional relationships with external agencies and other professionals associated with the young people and company.
  9. Monitor, coach, support, and motivate all Registered Managers.
  10. Safeguard the health, wellbeing, and safety of all young people within our care.
  11. Ensure that a high level of service is delivered within the homes and that the homes are compliant with health and safety requirements.

Requirements:

  • Must pass the Ofsted 'fit' test.
  • Good leadership and management skills including financial management.
  • A sound understanding of practice and working with young people.
  • Experience and understanding of running a children's home.
  • Well established stakeholder relationships with a proven track record of running successful children's residential care services.
  • Turnaround experience in children's homes and a successful problem solver.

Salary Information:

The salary for this position is £55,000 per annum, with room for negotiation based on experience. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a competitive salary package. The job is field-based, covering 6 care homes in London.
