Community Development Officer

We are looking for an experienced Youth Support Worker to join our team as a Sessional Youth Support Worker for the NHS Cadets programme. As a key member of our team, you will deliver high-quality sessions to young people involved with the NHS Cadet Programme, supporting their growth and development in health-related volunteering.
About the Role:
- Deliver 1.5-2 hour sessions to young people, with flexibility to adapt content to individual needs.
- Support the recruitment of young people onto the programme and work closely with stakeholders to ensure its smooth operation.
- Act as a support point of contact for enrolled young people, helping them maximise opportunities for growth and development.
Key Requirements:
- Experience of delivering formal or informal training/activities to young people.
- Ability to motivate young people with low or unrealised aspirations.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to tailor style to suit various audiences.
- High IT literacy, including MS Office and remote working tools.
