Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Temporary Teaching Assistants to join our team at schools specialising in supporting children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the educational and social development of students under the direction and guidance of the class teacher and SENCO.

Implement and support the school's behaviour management strategies to create a safe and supportive learning environment.

Help track and record students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and contributing to progress reports.

Provide emotional support and encouragement to students, helping them develop resilience and coping strategies.

Qualifications and Experience:

A relevant qualification in child development, education, or special educational needs is desirable but not essential.

Previous experience working with children with SEMH needs in an educational setting is highly desirable.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
