Care Support Specialist


Job Type: Full and part-time positions available

Salary: £12 per hour + paid travel time and mileage.


Candlelight Care is seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team, providing support to vulnerable adults in their own homes. We have opportunities for both full and part-time Care Support Specialists. Our typical shift patterns run from 7am - 2pm and/or 4pm up to 10pm, with a commitment to working alternate weekends. Driving is not always essential, depending on location.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Care Support Specialist, you will:

  • Build relationships with clients and understand their needs and interests.
  • Provide emotional and practical support, including assistance with personal care, domestic tasks, and food preparation.
  • Assist with medication, use of mobility aids, and personal equipment as required.
  • Report any significant changes in a client's health or circumstances to the Registered Manager.
