You'll be responsible for leading shifts, ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly and safely. You'll be meticulous about details like stocks, Health & Safety, and Hygiene. You'll oversee the pass to guarantee our food meets the highest standards and is served on time. You'll uphold 5-star kitchen standards at all times.

What We're Looking For

  • You're likely an existing Sous Chef or a Junior Sous Chef/Assistant Kitchen Manager looking to take the next step.
  • You have experience working with fresh ingredients and can demonstrate good chef/kitchen skills (food prep hot and cold, cleaning, knife skills, good hygiene practices).
  • You're a team player who rolls up their sleeves and leads from the front, delivering excellent kitchen and food standards as part of a high-performing team.
  • You're driven and relentless in overcoming obstacles.
  • You're familiar with KPIs and can make decisions in the absence of the Head Chef, considering labour, stock, food safety requirements, and more.
  • You have epic communication skills, able to manage stakeholders and build rapport and trust (with our Ops Chefs and Ops Managers).
  • You have a strong knowledge of best practice around rota scheduling, sales, and labour forecasts, reporting, recruitment, HR, and more.
  • You've demonstrated successful delivery of training and recruitment for kitchen teams, including Apprentices, KPs, Chefs, Junior Sous Chefs, and Sous Chefs.
