We are seeking a compassionate Care Companion Specialist to join our team in providing exceptional care to a young service user with complex needs. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 months of care experience, including personal care and moving and positioning, and a passion for delivering exceptional care.

Freddie is a happy 13-year-old boy who attends school full-time with the support of his specialist care team. He enjoys making his own decisions and being involved in all aspects of his care. He loves spending time with family and friends, reading, bowling, playing games, cooking, going to the park, and listening to music.

About the Role: We are looking for a committed and engaging Care Companion Specialist to work with Freddie at his home in Leominster. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering quality 1:1 care, truly getting to know our young service user and his unique needs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care and support to Freddie
  • Assisting with daily living tasks, such as bathing and dressing
  • Preparing meals and snacks
  • Accompanying Freddie on outings and activities
  • Maintaining accurate records of Freddie's care and progress

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £200 per 12-hour shift (in line with NHS Band 4/5)
  • A permanent contract of 24-36 hours per week
  • Paid DBS check
  • Up to £15 travel expense paid with each shift
  • £300 loyalty bonus, paid after 6 months of service
