Care Home Culinary Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team in a care home setting. This is a 0 hour bank contract role that requires flexibility and a passion for delivering high-quality dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Create a varied and nutritious menu that meets the dietary needs and preferences of our residents
- Train and manage the kitchen team to ensure efficient food preparation, cooking, and serving
- Manage all necessary paperwork, including COSHH and HACCP guidelines, company policies, budgets, and orders
- Cater for special events and seasonal activities
Requirements
- Passion for cooking with previous experience working in a fresh food kitchen and relevant hygiene certificates
- Mentoring and supporting others, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
