The role of Financial Performance Director at AFR Consulting Careers involves leading the charge in cost efficiency and financial planning. With a recent restructure of the finance department, this new position has been created to work closely with department heads to drive performance. The Financial Performance Director will oversee budget preparation for all departments, variance reporting, and forecast analysis.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape financial decisions and drive business growth. You will collaborate with internal teams, provide exposure to senior management, and lead key responsibilities including:

  • Developing comprehensive budgets for all departments
  • Reporting on variances against budget targets
  • Preparing detailed forecasts with thorough analysis
  • Maintaining regular meetings with budget holders to discuss results and actions
  • Liaising with various departments, including manufacturing, sales, and warehousing
  • Analyzing costs, margins, and performance metrics
  • Supporting strategic planning and decision-making processes
  • Creating financial models and scenario analyses
  • Proposing solutions to business challenges

The salary for this position is approximately £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. This remuneration package reflects the company's commitment to attracting top talent in the field of financial management.
